Sixteen listings in this catalog sell foam, which makes it the second most common claim family here after arch support. The vocabulary varies more than the substance: memory foam, cushioning, cushioned, cushion bounce, cloud, pillow. Several listings wrap it in a trademark instead, which is a way of naming a foam without describing one.
Memory foam is a real material category. Viscoelastic polyurethane foams behave in a recognizable way: they compress slowly under load and recover slowly when it is removed. Standardized test methods for flexible cellular materials exist and are published — density, indentation force deflection, resilience, compression set are all measurable quantities with methods attached. None of these sixteen listings cites any of them. The word survives; the numbers do not travel with it.
The proprietary names are the part worth watching. When a listing says Ultra Go, 5GEN or Goga Max instead of saying a density and a thickness, it has given you something that cannot be compared with any other product, including other products from the same brand. That is not an accident of style. A trademark is owned; a specification invites comparison.
